Thank you, but I have to say that I've lost the weight over a span of about five years (most of it in the last two). Losing 20 lbs "accidentally" over the course of about a year, year and a half. Trying to lose and not have much success the second year and a half or so. And only in the last two years feeling like I know what I need to do to stay on this path.
A lot of people lose it much faster (even I did most of my life), but it's the first time I've ever been able to keep any weight off - stay on a downward trend for so long. Usually I was either rapidly losing or rapidly gaining.
I am though proof that you don't always lose "most" of your weight in the beginning. Instead the weight loss skills are snowballing - gaining momentum as I go.
