Almost Constant Feeling of Body Stiffness

  • My body hurts most of the time. It is just a general overall feeling of stiffness, everywhere. Which leads me to not feeling like doing anything, but sitting around and resting my weary, aching body. But, I still make myself get up and move about and work out. I also have farm chores to do each day, twice a day.... which isn't negotiable (I don't think the horses would be very happy with me!) In the last week or so, I have been taking ibuprofen and I feel better, which leads me to move more. I also don't sleep worth a darn. I wake up at least 5 times in 8-9 hours. I keep thinking that something is wrong with me. RA, Fibromyalgia, maybe? Or something else? Should I see a doctor? Part of me tells me that something is wrong, and then part tells me that the only thing wrong is that I am horribly overweight and it will all go away as soon as I get some of this weight off. Comments?
  • Go to a doctor. It could be a number of things, lyme disease, fibromyalgia, etc, etc. Sleep apnea?
