Just For Today Challenge, August 4

    I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here.

    Join me if you like. I will probably start this challenge daily for a while. If anyone beats me on here in the mornings, and it hasn't been started, feel free to start it. Believe me, I will follow this challenge no matter who starts it.

    This has become a wonderful supportive group! (New thread started every day for a frest start!) Newbies to this thread always welcome!

    I got a late start today.
    Yesterday was ok - but the dh and I went out for dinner. Thai. Did my best and then came home and drank lots of water.

    Today My goals are:
    Eat OP
    No crackers or cereal
    Eat only when hungry and do not overeat
    Exercise some
    Drink more than 48 oz.

    Thinking about all of you.
  • Hello itm-Thai sounds fun. Good for you. Did you get your veggies in?

    The wierdest thing happened to me today. My stomach was growling before lunch! Honestly that never happens to me because I always eat so much. Too funny. It was probably because I had to eat a light dinner to stay under calories yesterday after a high calorie lunch. I really need to eat better food!

    Today my goals are:
    no alcohol or sweets
    Stay under 2000 calories
    Eat some vegetables
    60 minutes strength training at the Y
  • My goal is a little extra workout since I missed yesterday. Oh, and NOT miss again today!!

    TERAPET: Yay! A growling stomach. That has not happened to me in a long time. But I am trying my best to wait until I feel hungry. It's weird tho.

  • Yesterday was nearly a total washout. I did eat vegetables (iceberg lettuce, radish, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion) and went to the Y for 60 minutes but I indulged in both alcohol and sweets, plus both lunch and dinner were pretty high calories. I was no where near 2000 calories. I think I am getting stressed about dd impending leave for college. Not a good excuse but I am such a weakling!
