Has anyone tried Amberen? It isnt necessarily a weight loss product...it is a means of balancing hormones and improving menopausal symptoms including not only weight gain, but hot flashes, leg cramps, etc. Just wondered if anyone has or knows anyone who uses it?

This reply is a little late to your question, though unlike the previous poster (Nicole) I've actually used the product...much to my dismay. I'm 52 and have been experiencing hot flashes, reduced libido for the last two years. With alot of hope and after doing alot of reading about the product, I purchased Amberen and used it religiously for the 90 days. (I've since learned that alot of the sites promoting 'review's were actually affiliate sites. Be mindful of this when looking for reviews.)

It's important to note that the 30 day guarantee is meaningless since they encourage you to take it for 90 days in order to receive full benefit. I called the company after 25 days and told them that I wasn't getting the results I was expecting and that was the answer I got. So I hung in there for the additional 65 days.

After 90 days, I noticed elimination of hot flashes and night sweats. Immediately after product ran out, hot flashes returned. That 90 day residual effect that they've reported is sheer B.S., at least in my case.

No change or increase in the libidio whatsoever! Hotflashes I can take, the loss of my sex drive is a serious blow. I'm now back on the market to find something that WILL help with both symptoms of the big "M".
