So....I have a pair of goal jeans. They're the jeans that I wore last time when I had lost 30 pounds. I felt sexy and lean and cute in them. I have been trying them on and kept feeling that they were too tight, even though I'm only 3 pounds away from my old "Levi weight".
Last night was night 1 of my class reunion. (I won't tell you the year, but some of my classmates have grandkids....). I bought a cute white T-shirt and was going to wear my normal jeans, but then decided to give the Levi's a try. I decided to go ahead and wear them and.....they looked pretty good. I got lots of compliments; nobody specifically said, "You've lost weight" but several people said, "You look good!" So I liked that!
Last night was casual night, just beers at a local watering hole. There were other customers there besides the reunion crowd, and as I was leaving and we were all saying, "Bye! Bye!", a couple of non-reunion guys said, "Bye!" to me. One said, "Goodbye, tall lady!" (but in an admiring way). All in all, I felt really good about how I looked. It was nice, because I've been having some fat days lately and so it was good to feel healthy and cute. I might get brave and post a pic later; I dunno.
