As i sit here..

  • Currently I'm sitting here going through the threads offering advice and support to others, but today I went crazy. I had chicken tenders and fries for lunch and a burger for dinner. Not to mention the beer I am having now. Does anyone else have this problem? I just wonder... Who am I to give advice when I'm doing poorly myself??? Just one of those days. Back on track when I wake up!!
  • I often wonder the same thing. Im stuck in a plateau and giving advice to others on how to lose weight? Lol! But we both still have valuable things to add. You've lost 42 pounds, you gotta be doing something right. Everyone has those kinds of days, like you said- back on track tomorrow!
  • oh i'm the same way. sadly i've turned into my mother and am one of those "do as i say, not as i do" types. it sounds like you've already gotten past the hardest part though, acknowledging it. plus, sometimes we can't take our own advice until we hear it from ourselves.
  • I don't think anyone in this whole forum is perfect all the time. I know I am not. I had my boyfriend's cheeseburger the other day (although I fit it in plan using set points). I had one bad weekend and stayed off plan for a month and half. It's okay. Pull yourself up and try again tomorrow. Just make sure you get back on plan. This entry right here might help someone else out of a rut. You never know.
  • I did exactly the same thing... except I did it for most of the weekend! I'm back on track today. How I/we ate this weekend is in the past and there's nothing I/we can do about it. Now we just have to move forward and make good choices.

    but don't worry. Just keep moving forward. I did terrible yesterday. It happens. We're only human. You always have a clean slate the next day...and in the words of Scarlett O'Hara..."After all, tomorrow is another day!!!"

    Even superman has a weakness so don't beat yourself up for having one too... like all the rest of us.

  • Don't feel bad on a poor eating day.. I had a roll and shrimp w/ cocktail sauce before dinner and then a salad for dinner with chicken and all.. I felt horrible! Tomorrow I will be better! Just remember tomorrow is totally separate from today so just jump back on track!
