Hey everyone I just have a quick question. I've been on South Beach for about 3 week now. This weekend I went off it while my brother was home and I got heartburn for days. This worried me because I can count on one hand the number of times I've had heartburn in my life. Has anyone else experienced this when they slipped up or stopped SB? I'm back on now and I'm doing better, but I was just curious if this is just my body telling me something!

I don't get heartburn but do know that I start to feel pretty crappy when I deviate too much from the Plan. Our bodies DO tell us if we remember to listen!

I had chronic heartburn for years and was on Prevacid until I started SB and lost weight. Now I only get it if I eat bad things.

Thanks! Now that I've been eating better it's gone away. I guess I didn't realize eating the way I was had such an effect on my body!
