Since I can remember I had a fat roll that covered my belly button and it could not be seen. Even after losing 130 pounds, I still had the fat roll, it actually got bigger. One of my goals when I had a tummy tuck was to get my belly button pierced. Well folks, today is the day!

My tattoo artist has worked with lots of "fake" belly buttons women are left with after a tummy tuck. He's the only one I would let touch me. I am SOOOOO excited! I'm not worried about the pain because I'm still numb in the area. I have plenty of tattoos and my nose pierced. I can handle this!!

I think I might cry just because something I've wanted forever---something that will make me feel beautiful is about to happen. Wish me luck!!!!!

I love mine, too. I got it years ago with a fairly fat tummy. I said something to the girl who was piercing it about being fat and she said, "All bellies are beautiful." That really reassured me! Of course, I think it'll look even better once I get thinner but I really like it.
