Going to ask GP if s/he can refer me to a nutritionist

  • Yesterday was my 6th day of wooziness and general meh ness.
I ate a packet of crisps in the morning.
I ate a vlf yogurt at lunchtime.
I ate some vlf cottage cheese in the evening.
I went for a walk in the afternoon.

Today I feel fine, 98% better anyway.

I need to know if it's what I ate, or getting a bit of exercise in or just one of those things. Hm.

I don't usually eat salted products like crisps nor dairy products - but I do get plenty of non-dairy calcium.
    Hm.
  • It's a good idea, but keep in mind that nutritionists, as well as doctors or any other person, are human beings. That means they studied the matter and have experience, but that doesn't mean they are always right!!
  • I assume that those foods you listed are in addition to the other food you ate--right?

It might not hurt to talk to a nutritionist and also have your doc do some bloodwork.

    Jay
  • I was going to say, have you had some blood work done? It doesn't always detect possible issues but it is good to have done.
  • lol, yes, I did eat other things too!

I'll try and press the doctor for bloodwork but they're not keen on doing it unless there is a clearly presenting reason, because it costs them money.
