It's ok to buy that candy to support a cause...just go inflict it on your co-workers/church buddies/skinny friends, etc!
Just the other day there was somebody at the Supermarket, quite disabled, selling candy bars for $1.00. I gave him some money - and let HIM keep the candy. It's one thing to support a good cause, but it's another thing to set myself up for a fall. Nu-uh.
In the past I never gave a thought as to how many calories the food that I was eating had. I saw something - I wanted it - I ate it. I agree with Amanda. When you decide to get and stay healthy, you become SO aware of everything that goes into your mouth, THAT is what becomes your normal and second nature.
Glad you caught it before the WHOLE box was gone.
