1st day and I feel awful

  • So today if my 1st day on SB and I feel horrible. I am so lethargic that I actually left work. Is this normal?
    Here is what I have eaten today:
    B: Spinach Quiche
    S1: Celery with Laughing Cow cheese
    L: Grilled Portabella, diced tomatos, garlic ailoi, and FF cheddar in boston lettuce cups
    S2: Slice of turkey and glass of milk

    I havent had dinner yet but I am having stuffed chicken, califlower mash, and black beans
  • It depends on how you've been eating. Some get the SB "flu" which can involve lethargy, headaches and general ickiness. It is your body adjusting to no crap. Your menu looks okay, lots of veggies, which is great - beans and dairy really seem to help so try adding another serving of dairy - and I see you've got your beans for dinner, maybe eat them earlier in the day. If it is Ph1-related, hang in there. It only lasts a few days at most, and then you will start to feel great.
  • SB "flu" eh? So that's what it is! Blueeyes, I went through it also, my first three or four days were the pits. Knowing that I was actually eating better made me feel better about it though. I'm on day 7 and I'm great now! Stick with it girlie!
