  • We're making oatmeal pancakes this weekend. So of course we were hunting for a good sugar-free maple syrup. We stumbled upon a Smuckers brand and Maple Grove Farms. My DH opted or the MGF. I think it may have been a good choice. I'll keep you posted.
  • I tried assorted berries heated with some cinnamon and Splenda added on top of a slice of French toast and it was awesome!
  • I recently picked up a copy of Eat This, Not That for Kids and they recommend Smucker's sugar-free syrup as an Eat This. I've never seen it and we don't eat anything calling for syrup (at home) very often (lately if I do have waffles I use them as a base for savory stuff like hash or beans; but I have been getting crumpets lately, which look like a small pancake cooked on one side, and I think they make a pretty good toaster substitute for pancakes) but I should keep an eye out for it
  • Some in this thread recommend Smucker's, but I threw out a bottle just the other day. To me, it's too thin and doesn't taste right.
  • I like Walden Farms syrup! I use it on a lot stuff. I especially love putting in plain yogurt. The brand is not in all grocery stores. I've found it at the Jewel Chains here in Chicago, IL. However, they do have a website.

Great losses so far Frank! How often do you use WF products? Do you use any other WF products?
  • I still miss real syrup! But it's just not worth the calories!
  • Hands down for me it's Mrs. Butterworth's sugar-free! I think it taste great and is nice and thick!

I use it on whole grain waffles and pancakes and it's really good in my steel cut oatmeal.
