Great new tool from Peapod

  • I'm not sure if this is the proper place to put this, but....

I order groceries online and have them delivered by Peapod. I live in the Washington, DC area, but they also deliver in other states, I believe. I like ordering on line (aside from the fact I'd rather THEY deliver the bottled water rather than me have to lug it home on the Metro) because you can click a link and get the nutritional info (calories, fat, fiber, etc.)

Well, tonight I noticed they have something new, called Nutri-filter. There are several options (USDA low fat, USDA fiber) including Weight Watchers. It puts the point count next to nearly every food you click. It's incredibly helpful. I could see that I'd chosen several high point items without having to check the nutritional info. It's free and easy to set up, for anyone here who uses Peapod.
  • That's pretty cool! Just the fact that they spent the time to add the filter says good things for the compay.
