Interesting view of 100 pounds!
These 2 buckets I am standing next to are 50 pounds each. They contain coconut oil.
That is one hundred pounds of fat.
I was carrying around 2 buckets full of fat on my body!

Lori, this is an awesome visual. And isn't it amazing that we can move at all carrying that much fat around?
I'm just curious though, why do you have 100 lbs. of coconut oil?

Wow, that is really amazing to look at it that way. I work in a bakery and we get our shortening in 50 lb. boxes and I keep telling myself -just one more pound and I'll have lost a whole box of shortening! I can't wait until it's two boxes

It's part of our business. Soapmakers use coconut oil, and we sell this to them. Not to mention lifting 50 pound buckets is a great workout !

Holy cow Lori, that is really amazing. And inspiring. Now tell us how you feel if you carry those buckets as you try to go about your day!! I am always amazed at how HARD it is to walk around carrying my daughter up stairs and other places, and she only weighs HALF of what I have lost!!
You have come a long way. Congrats!!

Neat visual! Isn't it so much better having it in a bucket instead of on us?

Yes, thanks for the visual. Really does put it in perspective. It's mind boggling in fact. But the above quote REALLY hits home for me. Like, ummm, yeah - no wonder I was always so tired! How true.
