Hi I am Terri
I have been trying to eat more healthy and get my weight down to help with my health and my knee joint pain.
I am 47 and work in a office, so I sit most of the time. I started my healthy eating the last week of October 2007. When I started my weight was 232 and now I am at 180.5 pounds. I am only 5'1 so I am trying to get down to 140 pounds.
I actually eat more now that I am eating healthy and making better choices. I try to keep my calorie intake under 1600 calories a day and eating more veggies and fruits. I do not want to feel starved or deprived so I do not care if I loose the weight fast, one pound a week is fine with me.
I was browsing through the internet and found some inspirational stories on this web site. I liked the idea of this site being a support group type.
I look forward to getting to know others and exploring this site more.
