Okay, I thought everyone was NUTS raving about greek yogurt. I had gone and bought a container of Fage and it was expensive. And it was HORRID. Sour, runny, nothing like the "rich creamy dessert" everyone talks about. I figured.. whatever, they are all nuts.
Well I read in a magazine that OIKOS brand greek yogurt won the taste test. I saw it in Walmart today for $1.26 for a little 5oz container. I bought it (0% fat, honey on the bottom).
OH. MY. GOODNESS. It is HEAVEN. It is really really thick and creamy like... like maybe totally thick full fat sour cream. And not at all sour. It is thick like frosting!! I wolfed it down, 120 calories. Now I am quite sure there was something wrong with the first one I got that was yucky.
So now, what do you do with this stuff? Besides just eat it plain. Do you use it on things or in things? I was thinking of mixing cocoa into it and see if it was good... anyone tried that? Tell me how you like to use your greek yogurt. I am a convert!
