Default Roll call!!

Since there are so many newbies as well as oldies here on the 100 lb club, I thought it would be nice to reintroduce ourselves so everyone can get to know everyone!

I am Sandi and I am the moderator of the 100 lb club. I have been here for many years. I have never been successful at getting very much weight off, but I never lose hope that I will. Please feel free to PM me if you need anything at all.

I have been happily married for 15 years and the shining star of my life is my 7 year old son Jacob. We have 1 dog and 1 cat and live in Northwest Indiana. I work full time teaching computer software. My hobbies are making jewelry and (you guessed it!) posting here at 3FC!

What about You??

Hi I'm Tracey (the Trazey rhymns with crazy get it ) and I'm 41 years old. I run a mental health office, I have a DH who's so dreamy and yummy I could cry with how much I love him heheh such a girlie! It's just the two of us, we were not blessed with children.

I have a great time with my co-workers and friends, and I have to say I'm a happy sunny little bunny 99% of the time!

I've been fat for about 20 years, a steady incline, and haven't really tried to get it off before - this time has been soooo different! I've made some really sustainable changes, changes I can live with. Being fat is not who i AM as person, it just is what it is. And it's GOING!

I come to 3FC every single day. I don't always post, but I always read. It keeps me focused, on track, and "in the zone".

Default ooh ooh, fun!

Ooooh! I like this idea! I'm an old member, but I haven't been around much for a while. It'll be good to re-introduce myself.

I am Selena, and I've been a member for a couple of years. I initially lost quite a bit of weight, though not necessarily in a healthy way, and here I am again, starting from almost the same point from which I began last time. This time, I'm working the WW plan, and I'm focusing on being honest with myself about my strengths/weaknesses and also about the real amount of weight I have to lose.

I am an aerospace engineer, I'm 29, and I'm still single. I live in Colorado, and I love all things outdoors! I am heavily into Skiing, Fly-fishing, camping, etc., and within the last year, I've picked up running. You can keep up with my running related weblog here: slowgirlrunning.blogspot.com.

Seems funny doing this every so often, but I forget that new people are here all the time!

I am Linda, married for 11.5 years to Rudy. I just turned 30 on Dec. 30th. We have 2 kids DS 10, and DD 6. We also have two amazingly neurotic doggies whom we love dearly. I am hoping to return to work part time very soon, as we struggle financially with a single income...but it has been very well worth it!
Twice in the past several years, I have made it halfway to my goal, and then turned around and put it all back on plus some.

Turning 30 was my major spark this time and I hope to make it all the way this time. It's hard to believe in yourself when you've failed before, but I am doing very well at the moment.

I've been a member of this board for a long time now, and consider myself an oldie!

We have struggled in our marriage at times over my body image issues. At one point my hubby told me that he was not sexually attracted to me (caused YEARS of trouble). We have also struggled with internet pornography in the past, but we are doing very well right now, and I love my hubby with all my heart.

I am an open book. Please feel free to PM me also, about anything you might need to talk about.

That's me in a VERY small nutshell.

Linda

In my recent intro I mentioned that I don't like to give my name out online! I guess you can call me PC? *grin*

In a nutshell:
I'm 40, married, live in the South, own my own business, have no kids, and one cat.

I weighed the most ever in Dec 2006, when I finally got fed up. A lot of huge changes in my life over this past summer helped motivate me even more, and so far I've lost a little over 60 lbs. When I reach my goal weight, I will have lost right at 102 lbs.

Glad to be here - already it feels like home!

Hey all ~
I'm 24, engaged and gettin' healthy. I've been using WW since April 2007. Joined 3FC in October 2007 and couldn't be happier with this great group of inspiration, support and advice all rolled up into one useful place.

As far as my weight is concerned, I've been overweight/obese my entire life. So, there's not too much of a story there. But there will be once I've lost it all!

I'm a person of many interests, but basically I'm a gaming, fantasy-loving, sci-fi dork. Also, very addicted to 3FC.

Hi everybody!

My name is Michelle and I am 33 years old. I live in the southeast section of West Virginia. I have been here in WV for one year, we moved from Miami, Florida.

I am married to Randy for almost 16 years. He has recently lost 45 pounds and is supportive of my healthy commitment. We have two daughters ages 12 & 9. They are great kids and want to see me acheive my goals for a healthier lifestyle. I can't say that my weight has limited the things I do with them, because I go to every game and every practice, but I can say that my weight has probably cost them some humiliating times. They have never said anything to me about it but I know other kids at school can be harsh. I do feel that even though I am always at there school helping out, I could do more if I was healthier. I am very close with my brother and my mother. They are in my daily life and wanting this healthier life for me as well.

My weight was 150 until 1995 when I had my first daughter, I gained 50 lbs. (just because I didn't watch what I ate), never bother to take it off. Then in 1998 I had my youngest daughter and gained another 50 lbs. and again never bother to take it off. So I continued to keep that weight until about two years ago. Last Sunday is when I made the commitment to become healthy.

Hi,
I'm Cammie. I never introduced myself here, just made myself at home and started posting.
I'm a 41 year old single mom of a 3 year old girl. I'm in the last 6 months of my job here (with associated stresses), selling the house, and getting ready to go back to school for a year (my second masters). I'm changing careers and looking forward to it, but of course finding it a tad scary.
I have PCOS and it has some significant obstacles for me...I had knee surgery last Nov (re-gained 30+ lbs) and the other knee will be surgically altered on Feb 4th this year.
I have many deep beliefs. One of them is that we don't laugh enough as adults.

Oh, that is funny! You forgot to mention that you have an awesome sense of humor! I love reading your posts.

Hi! I'm Rhonda. I'm 43 years young, a wife of 14 years and mother to one hormonal tween daughter and one sassy spunky little daughter. I'm also Mom to 3 lapdogs, one talkative poopy parakeet and one shy gerbil. I'm a recent transplant to Georgia from Florida (Go Bucs!) I love watching the tube...Thank God for TiVo!....reading steamy paranormal romance books and re-decorating (Hubby, get out the checkbook!) Hubby and I both work at home for a "major healthcare administrator." So, we get to sit on our butts in front of the computer for 40 hours each week. Not so great for the weight loss!

As you can see, I've been on 3FC for a while and I usually hang out here in the 100lb club. I've been on tons of diets, but I seriously began this weight loss journey as a New Year's resolution for 2007. I was successful at losing 30 pounds last year and keeping it off. I lose incredibly slowly. I think this is due to being in surgical menopause and having insulin resistance. Now, for 2008, I plan on reaching my goal of 150 pounds. I've been following Southbeach, but am looking into changing to Jillian Michaels eating and exercise plans.

My motto is 'Never Quit,' so you'll be seeing me around 3FC for a long long time! Who's with me?

Hi eveyone,
My name is Lindsey, I am 28 and live in Central Pennsylvania with my boyfriend of 6 years and our 3 cats. I do data analysis for the Navy (civilian employee).
I have always had body image issues and struggled with my weight but playing softball in HS keep my weight in the 180's. When I was 20 (and had gained weight in college) I joined LA weight loss and went from 205 lbs to 142 lbs. That large weight loss caused me to have gallstones and then get my gallbladder removed. I gained some weight after that but stayed in the 170's until 4 years ago when I was transfered to Philly (not by choice). I was away from friends, family, and the hometown I grew up in. I gained weight quickly with my max weight being 269 lbs last spring. Now I am back in my hometown and I started counting calories in Oct and working out 5-6 days a week. I recently decided to go back to eating mostly vegan (may have dairy occasionally but I will wait and see). I have been posting on this site for the past few months.

Hi everyone! Like Cammie, I never introduced myself. I just showed up and starting posting here and there.

I'm 26 years old, and I've been dating the same fellow for about 6 years. We live together in New Mexico and have a spoiled dog, two hamsters, two gerbils, and several fish. I work in an office, sifting through paperwork most of the day.

I can't remember a time when I didn't think of myself as fat, even as a child. In hindsight, I wasn't overweight during my early elementary school years, but by the time I was in 6th grade, I was. My family has always been filled with big eaters. My mother is obese (350+), and so are my father and brothers. So, as a kid, I ate...and ate...and ate. By the time I graduated high school, I was 220+ pounds. When I began my weight loss journey in 2006, I was 254 pounds. I managed to lose about 20 pounds in September and October of 2006. I fell off the wagon in 2007 and crawled back on at the beginning of 2008. I'm staying on the wagon now. I swear. :-)

Oh, and I'm a vegetarian, but I do partake of eggs and dairy.

Nice to meet everyone!

This is fun! My name is Robyn and I'm 45 years young. I've been married more than half my to my wonderful husband. We have 2 children - my daughter is 18 and my son is 13. We live on the lake in beautiful Austin, Tx!

I started gaining weight right after high school. I have lost weight many times and even kept it off for a very short time, but didn't really change my lifestyle so I gained in all back plus more pretty quickly.

In October 2006 I decided enough was enough! I wanted to be healthy and I was going to do it once and for all. I decided to do it just for ME! I've lost 80 pounds during the last 15 months. I'm much happier with myself that I've been in years. Maintaining my weight loss is still a battle and I know it will be for the rest of my life, but it is so worth it.

I've been coming to 3FC since July and I love it! I plan to pop in everyday!

heh heh so I'm in

Hi I'm Val (full name Valdine - there aren't many of us out there but my weight loss isnt a secret). I'm 23, I work as the tourism coordinator in my hometown (I moved back here from vancouver for health reasons). I've always been overweight.. but things got a lot worse when my health did.

The catalyst for me ending up at 3fc is the fact that I have MS and it's changed my life. When an MS flare 'takes me out' of life for a day/week/month I get to spend that time contemplating the way I live when fully mobile.

Getting and staying healthy is at the top of that list of mine I've been around since August. I want to take full advantage of the mobility I have right now. seize the day or something lol. My hobbies include sleeping... and I do a lot of pilates. I pretty much save my energy for work and exercise. I'm calorie counting.. because it's cheap!

Hi, I'm Vek from Quebek! Actually I'm Vera. I live in a very little -burried in snow- village of French Canada, I'm a french speaker, so, I might make plenty of spelling mistakes. Please, excuse me.

I'm 33 y.o., web designer, I love drawing and taking photographs of birds. I'm a SciFi fan, I'm married, no kids, just cats. 3 cats. One white, one black and one gray. Napoleon, Josephine and Poupique.

I'm a bit shy but I would love making friends. Since I discovered this forum I'm here few times a day. Soon (I hope soon), when I will reach my goal of 180lbs I will post my first bunch of pics "before" and "after", so, you will get to know me better.

I have more things about myself on my website but I am afraid to post here the link to it cause it's a professional site and I don't want to be banned because I advertized my work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAMMY!
