One Day Diet??

  • Has anyone seen this? It is called the "One Day Diet" You are supposed to eat like 2 waffers per hour for 10 hours on your "Diet" day.....HOLY CRAP!

Has anyone seen this or tried it? I dont think I could do something like that.
  • No, I haven't seen it - and I don't ever want to.
  • Sounds "incredibly nutritious" (just kidding!!)

Can't possibly figure anyway this could help you lose weight, because the next day you will be starving!!! If I could live off of 20 wafers a day, I wouldn't have become overweight in the first place!!!!

Hope no one is considering this....
  • That sounds like my neighbor's "diet", which consists of 6 grapes, 3 wheat thins, two slices of deli turkey, and 100 ounces of water. Can we say eating disorder, anyone?

That sounds like a really dangerous diet, and I really hope that people are smart enough to recognize that it could do a lot more harm than good.
  • that's called anorexia, where you starve and then binge, it is actually the every other day diet, (i looked it up online) and you starve for one day, and binge the next day. It's crazy unhealthy and will ruin your matobolism firstly. Also, isn't just easer to eat right and treat yourself with something small every day, I think you would lose the same amount of weight. And you would be doing it every day so you would be used to it.

So what are they even selling you here, some waifers--so silly!!! I mean a healthy alternative would be a healthy diet one day, and then a healthy diet with a little cheating the next day (like having mayo or a big pasta dish).

What is so interesting is that I gained weight because I ate poorly. I don't want to lose weight because of eating poorly, that just doesn't make sense. Shouldn't we just eat right and healthy, that is the ultimate goal!?!?!

    That diet is silly.
  • See that is what I was thinking also, I just couldnt believe it when I ran across it...I was so shocked that someone would actually try this. I know as a "dieter" we are all desperate to find something that will WORK, but WOW....I agree with Shelby, I couldnt live on that for one day.....If that was how eating was meant to be no one would be overweight!
