  • Finally - I weigh less than my husband. The scale dropped another pound this morning and I had a sneaking suspicion that I might finally weigh less than he, so I called him in and showed him the scale. Mine said 192. I asked how much he weighed now and he hopped on and it said 198. Granted he was fully dressed and I only had on my underwear, but there is no way his clothes weighed 6 lbs. I think this is a better feeling than hitter one-derland because since we met him, I have never weighed less than he did. When we first met, he weighed close to 160 and I weighed closer to 180. My weight had steadily gone up, eventually to 346, and his weight went up about 225. He lost down to his current weight supporting me when I first started trying to lose weight. What a wonderful feeling!! Does it show that I'm excited??
  • That's just terrific!!!!!!!
  • congratulations!!!!!!!!!
  • Congratulations!
  • That's so great!

I know I was super excited when I finally weighed less than my SO! He is thin as a rail and there are pictures of the two of us where I am literally twice as wide as he is. Not anymore!
  • that is so awesome! congrats. I can't wait to get to that point myself
  • That is awesome . It was also a very big goal of mine to weigh less than my DH. Yes, it is something to be proud of for sure.
  • CONGRATULATIONS!! TAMMY:c heer2:
  • Congratulations. You should be very proud of yourself!
  • Thanks everyone! This one really was a happy one for me.
  • heh.

I saw the thread title and didn't know WHAT to expect!!

    Congrats! That's awesome!!!!!!
  • Oh Tammy, I know EXACTLY how you are feeling and I am so glad that you are FEELING that way.

I always hated, hated, hated the fact that I weighed more then my husband. Different circumstances then you though. My hubby was/is significantly overweight. People used to say things to him all the time about his weight as I was standing there - and they never would say a thing to me. I think he weighed 235 when I started, and then HE kept losing weight, so everytime I thought I'd finally caught up to him - he would lose some more. But I finally did catch him, I think he's about 218 now. So, yeah I was able to celebrate this "milestone" way earlier then you.

All I can say is CONGRATULATIONS and enjoy this moment. It IS one of the best "losing weight" feelings there is I think for us women. And of course congratulations on losing yet another pound. Gosh, it's fun watching you succeed.
  • Thats so wonderful , very happy for you !!!!!

I totally have to say I feel the same way. The husband is currently 18 pounds lighter than me and that just urkes me to no end. I'm happy hes lost weight and hes feeling better about himself. I want to be small enough to have him be able to actually lift me up. Thats going to rock my world, having the husband be able to actually hold me. Keep it up and keep up the updates!!
