  • What are your favorite healthy snacks?
  • I really like nuts of any kind...just got to be careful not to eat too many. I also love hummus with pita bread. Ummmmm...what else...peanut butter on apple slices. YUM!
  • I love frozen berries and frozen banana slices. Mmmmmm.
  • Well..This is not counted as healthy ( Most of my snacks). But here is what I snack on..
I love dill pickles... ( I really have never watched my sodium so I eat them like crazy when I get the muchies)
I like the sugar-free Fudge pops 40 calories 1 gram fat..
Small amount of peanut butter on an English muffin.

I second both of these as well. Along with the sf popsicles and sf jello.
  • I love bananas, strawberries, and celery (with peanut butter.)

When I was pregnant and diabetic, I lived on sugar free Jello.
  • Laughing Cow cheese and Triscuits have been my snack of the month!

I also like frozen bananas, peaches, and strawberries. Another favorite is canned peaches or pears (in lite syrup) mixed with unsweetened applesauce. Sounds weird and looks strange, but don't knock it until you try it!! Yum!!

I also like a lot of the 100 Cal. packs. Ritz chips are my favorite!
  • -I love the jello sugar free 60 calorie puddings
    - a sliced kirby
    -a few pistachio nuts
-17 calorie multi grain rice cake with a tiny bit of peanut butter
-60 calorie fat free/sugar free ice cream bar
    -strawberries
-small amount of cereal in a cup
-Danon 60 calorie fat free yogurt
  • I don't really "snack" per se--I eat a bunch of mini meals. Some of my favorites are:
    • peanut butter and jelly! (sodium-free natural peanut butter and no-sugar-added jelly on whole-grain bread)
    • fat-free fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt (I like the fruit on the bottom because I like to mix just a little fruit in with most of the yogurt, then eat most of the fruit at the bottom with just a little yogurt mixed in)
    • fruit and protein powder smoothies
    • chicken breast with salsa and cheddar cheese
    • whole-wheat pita with hummus and sliced turkey and/or cheese
    • all-natural roasted red pepper and tomato soup with croutons
    • packet of reduced-sugar instant oatmeal
  • I like:

    - a tablespoon of Jif Extra Crunchy peanut butter on a whole wheat pita

    - Laughing Cow lowfat cheese on a GG Bran Crisp

-strawberries dipped in fat-free yogurt (my current fav is Yoplait Boston Cream Pie flavor)

    -a banana

    -handful of almonds

    -Carnation Instant Breakfast (chocolate)

    -an apple with peanut butter

    - Eggbeater scramble made with fresh spinach, olives and cherry tomatoes
