Hi, everyone! I surely hope this is a good way to post my progress.

My fiance and I are getting married on 12/12/12 at 12:12 on The Dee Armstrong Show here in Columbus. We are thrilled that beginning on November 14th they will have Wedding Wednesdays showing our progress and planning!!

I started the plan at 189. I'm only 5'3" so that put me on the morbidly obese category. That sucked!!

My fiance is 6' and weighed in at 241.

I am posting here because I've found in the past that the support from those who are also going through the same situation is immeasurable in our success.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding, how wonderful!! If your so to be husband every forgets that day for future anniversaries, it proves there is no hope for men :)

I am doing the program at home, so I am only weight in once a week. I tend to get a little 'crazy' about the numbers on the scale, so I'm thinking once a week may work better for me!

I did go to the cooking class when I went into the center in Colorado. I loved them, I would have NEVER tried making it at home, but after you taste it and see how wonderful it was, it was great.

I'm not really motivated by to much this time around. This time I'm not making a big 'to-do' about it as I have in the past. There are no more options for me other than staying, also morbidly obese, for the rest of my life. This is my lifestyle now, nobody is making me, no pressures to suceed.

How are the wedding plans going? Enjoy every minute, its such a wonderful time in your life when you look back :)

The wedding plans are going great. We were planning a small wedding. Then, The Dee Armstrong show agreed to follow our planning and weightloss progress. That changed the plans completely!

I have quite a few things to still get done, but with the help of my Matron of Honor and lots of sweet friends, it's going to get done!!

I would be a nervous mess with it being public! Did you guys enter for a contest or do they do this frequently?

Strangely enough, I just sent her a message telling her that I was getting married on 12/12/12 at 12:12 and since her show had just moved to the noon hour, I thought it would make a great holiday feel good story. This turned into what it is today!!

Carol Ann , Congratulations! I bet you are excited, don't forget to pack your lunches when you're out doing your wedding planning I lost two whole months of good time losing weight by getting out to plan my wedding this coming January and getting so hungry I would eat anything, Keep on truckin!

:) So Happy for you! 11 pounds is like as big as my dog! I can't wait til I get to 11 pounds down

Oh, good luck! What do you typically eat? I am watching your videos right now and I saw that you said you can reach your goal by February. That's amazing!
