I wonder if you parboiled the rutabega or turnips first before you bake them, if that will give you the soft inside and the crispy out?

I froze the choc. pudding once and made my version of 'ice cream' the other day.. It was a nice treat after a warm day.. I think it only took about 30-45 min to freeze...
