Ok I have bought the book and I am starting first thing tomorrow. I have a couple of questions for those who have been on it. I am a little confussed.
1. Can you only have turkey bacon.
2. Since you can have 1% milk can you have non-fat milk?
3. Any ideas for a girl who hates almost all the veggies on the lisy? I know I am picky.
and any other wisdom you can pass on would be great.

Turkey bacon as opposed to what? You can have Canadian bacon (back bacon). But you can't have "real bacon".
I use skim powdered milk in my coffee.
As for the veggies, I think you're screwed, hon.
SKherb, you are going to have to eat veggies or your body will be in big trouble! Be sure to thoroughly read the book and also read ALL the FAQ stickies. The first two weeks of this plan are hard and you will need all the help and support you can get.
Ellis is right about the bacon issue. You can also have soy bacon.
You are allowed fat free milk and yoghurt up to 2 cups per day.
