Default Anyone get kind of woozy on Phase 1?

Hi, hope everyone is doing well. I'm new to the beach and am only on my second day. I never really do well on no carb/low carb diets because I'm fairly active and feel better if I have at least a couple whole grain crackers or fruit or some carbs (which I am not doing now because I'm trying to stay on Phase 1 strictly). Yesterday I went for a 14 mile bike ride and did a yoga video. This morning I felt kind of weak. I had breakfast (eggbeaters) and diet iced tea and water but still feel kind of woozy (ya know, dizzy and a little slower-moving). Has anyone else felt this way the first couple days or so on the beach? Thank you for any advice!

Yeah, DH & I both felt like crap in the beginning - no energy at all and a bit slow. It should pass though.

Yes, it's very normal for most people. Take it slow with the exercise until you're feeling a little more steady.

Musicgal, remember this is a good carb diet, not a no carb plan! Eat legumes in soups or salads or roasted as snacks. See the Recipe Section.

Thumbs up Thanks for all your responses--feeling a little better

Thanks for all your responses. I'm glad to know that others went through the same thing and it is passing. I will take your advice Ruthxxx and add the legumes and do more of the recipes (I'm not much of a cook, but I just got the cookbook yesterday so I have that and the original recipes to go by). The carbs I have been eating are lots of veggies (the ones allowed). I just hope I make it through these first two weeks. I know I can do Phase 2 for a long time...it's just phase 1 that I knew would be a little hard but I'm hanging in. Hope everyone is fine and doing well!
