Question South Beach and Vegetarian?

Was wondering if it is possible to be a vegetarian and be on the South Beach Diet. I do eat a little fish and some poultry, but only very occasionally. I have reflux problems and an irritible bowel and have trouble digesting these foods. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you looked at the Food Lists for Phase 1 and 2? There are many veggies listed to eat and I believe meat substitutes like soy and such. I personally think it would be do-able, but I have only been on it for a week.

I will scan through my book and see if I see anything about vegetarians.

Good Luck!

Do check out the lists and the revisions. I think it would be very do-able for Phase I and Phase II should be easy.
