Default Soup during Phase I?

I just picked up the newest SBD and was wondering ... during Phase I, can I eat canned soup like Progresso or Campbell's?
I was thinking that I might like to have soup in the morning instead of yogurt.

thanks!

Cassie

Cassie, check the carb counts. Some of them may be okay.

Also, see if they have MSG - I just read in the Good Fat/Good Carb Guide that MSG is high GI, which I did not know, and should be avoided. All Campbells soup is out, if that is the case, except for the Healthy Request. They only put MSG in the Unhealthy Crap cans!

Sheesh! My Tuscan Beef and Bean Soup used Campbell's soups. I knew they were salty but didn't know about the MSG.
Ignorance is bliss!

Default soups

Soups are wonderful this time of year! Anyone know a good substitute for cream of mushroom soup? (I often use that as a gravy, but I guess I better put a stop to that now!)

You could always make your own, Cassidy. (too much work, you say?) I don't do it often (because I'm lazy), but I've made some incredibly good mushroom soups in the past.
