Question Salad dressings??

I am brand new to the diet...I just got my book yesterday. I was wondering what all kinds of salad dressings were permitted. I have been very successful with the Atkins diet, but find it impossible to do over a long period of time. The only think that was easy for me was that I knew exactly what I could and could not eat. I am a list person, and need some help with a few things, so please bear with me. I am looking forward to talking with you all.

Thanks,
Melissa

Welcome to The Beach, Melissa. Please come over to Fat Chicks On The Beach and join us on one of the dailies - or all of them! You can also post threads with specific questions over there as it gts more traffic.

As to this question, just check the labels on commercial dressings and pick the one with the lowest carbs. You should also try to use only dressings made with olive or canola oils and try to avoid dressing with a lot of sugar like poppyseed and some of the fruit dressings.

Once again, welcome! There is lots of information and support on this Forum.

Marie's had a dressing - it was either Ranch or Blue Cheese - and it was the lowest sugar/carb dressing I have seen so far. It is in the produce section.
