PennyLane, not only can you have dairy (Skim or 1% only, though) in Phase 1, but you should try to get 3 servings of milk or yogurt in daily. You can have plain yogurt in Phase 1 (use SF syrups to sweeten and flavor it). Those three servings help reduce belly fat. Cheese nor calcium supplements work the way that milk and yogurt do, so drink/eat up!
