Would it be possible to make it using egg substitute? I'm working out the points for some of my SBD faves and Just trying to get the most bang for my points buck
Just FYI, thought I'd mention what I use instead of Egg Beaters and other egg substitues.
Since most egg substitutes are just egg whites with some food coloring, I just use regular eggs and throw away the yolks, using two egg whites in place of a whole egg in recipes. For scrambled eggs or omelets, I usually use 1 whole egg and 3 - 4 whites. Even throwing the yolks away, it's cheaper to use real eggs than egg substitutes, and I think the taste is much fresher.
