Crab and Veggie Pasta Salad
1 lb of crabmeat, cut into bite sized pieces
1 1/2 lbs of veggies, cooked and steamed lightly
1 lb of any type of pasta, i use gluten free bowtie pasta
8 oz reduced fat or fat free ranch dressing
1 tablespoon dried basil or 3 tablespoons of fresh basil
2 teaspoons of garlic power
Rinse the crab, veggies and cook pasta in cold water and place into a large bowl. Add the dressing, basil and garlic powder and toss. Can serve salad immediately or chill for several hours. Serves about 12 people. You can half this recipe and also freeze it for future use.
Be creative and used different types of pasta and a variety of veggies. You could also substitute shrimp for the crab.
