Here is a Green Bean recipe that is low in cals and great in taste.
3 lb of fresh green beans or 3 cans of green beans,
3 fresh tomatoes or 2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 head of fresh garlic
1 tsp of olive oil.
Combine all of the ingredients in one covered large pot on top of the stove and let it simmer all day under low heat.
The flavors of the garlic, olive oil and tomatoes mixes with the green beans and creates this wonderful flavor and taste and the calories are low.
My grandfather would dip crusty Italian Bread in the tomato sauce but I use one weight watcher pita.
Cut open 1 WW pita bread and spray the insides with I can't believe its not butter, then add a sprinkle of garlic powder and parmesan cheese and bake the pita till crispy.
Then break up the Pita and dip into the Green Beans,tomatoes and garlic..
