Cheese and vegetables salad
I want to share a delicious salad, which is very easy and tasty. English is not my first language, so I may use some strange expressions, as it is the first time that I translate a recipe.
CHEESE AND VEGETABLES SALAD (4 servings)
200g of diced cheese (the original recipe uses the variety "cuartirolo", which is also called pont l'eveque; use any soft cheese or low fat cheese).
3 fresh grated carrots.
1 cup of chopped celery -is "chopped" the right word?-
1 diced green apple.
2 diced tomatoes.
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Serve in a serving dish over sliced lettuce dressed with oil, lemon juice and a little salt -the dressing is not really necessary; I only use a little or no oil and it is OK.
