My mom does a similar thing for potato wedges, we call them "oven fries" or "home fries". Basically, cut potatoes into wedges, sprinkle with olive oil, then sprinkle Season All on top of them! lol

I've actually seen this recipe somewhere before, and I absolutely adore it, I just cant find the ingredients to make it here in the UK :(

Sorry to hear that. :(

They are so good & go very well with the easy baked fish recipe I posted yesterday.

Congratulations on your 6 lb. lost. :cp:

I have a standard roasting recipe that I use on all veggies and potatoes. If I want "fries" I just cut the potato into strips instead of chunks.

I use a large freezer bag and put my cut taters or veggies in there. Shake like mad with a little oil (I use canola, olive oil, or a mixture of the two - usually 1 tablespoon of oil for a bagful of veggies - usually about 6 servings or more). Then throw in seasonings (whatever I like) and shake again. I like ranch dressing mix powder, but sometimes just throw in whatever. Like the other day, I threw in a satay powdered seasoning packet for an indonesian flavor. Then empty out the bag into a foil lined baking dish (for easy cleanup) and bake at 400 - 450 until soft inside with carmelized edges. MMMM.
