I saw a lot of other topics asking what can be made with a certain ingredient, and I had an idea - why don't we all list what we have in our kitchens or our favorite healthy foods and see what recipes other people love to make with them? I'm sure we'll all end up discovering something new, and I know I'm a little stuck with recipe ideas for all my new healthy groceries.
Here's what I've got:
-Whole wheat pastas and tortillas
-Fresh strawberries, bananas, and oranges
-Fresh celery, broccoli, tomatoes, and red potatoes
-Frozen green beans, spinach, and peppers
-Reduced fat cheddar cheese
-Dried black beans, pinto beans, lentils, and chickpeas
-Tons of spices and condiments, including fresh dill and cilantro
What would you make with these ingredients? I'm thinking a pinto bean burrito with sauteed peppers, salsa, and cheese for dinner tomorrow!
