You will never see another pet like Dr. John Watson.
 

I told myself I would never own another hamster as long as I lived after my 2 dwarfs passed away 2 years ago. The apartment got lonely and I decided in July of last year that I wanted another. This is Watson. He looks fat, but he is all fluff (he's so patient he actually lets me take a comb to him every single day to get his fur brushed out). I'm a professional photographer (no, I'm not just saying that, I have a degree in it and it's how I pay for life) and am CONSTANTLY up in his face. He has got to be the most patient animal in the world. He will let me wake him up from a nap to take a million photos of him and he poses like so, but only for a split second each, so I have to catch them while I can.

Thanks! A lot of people have said that about not liking hamsters and then they meet him.

I felt that way about my first rat. Everyone actually thought he was an oversized hamster and wouldn't always take my word for it that he was a rat. He was just so smart. I would let him out and when I said, "STOP" he would literally freeze where he was at so I could pick him up and put him back in his cage. Then I got two more and they just didn't measure up. You gotta love the ones that capture our hearts! Ahhh... furry critters!

I'm glad you didn't down size the picture. It's a great photo and I read how he will actually pose. The picture definitely proves that. He is adorable and sounds like a wonderful and unique pet. :)

He is hysterical and you're definitely right, he's unique. He's just got his own little personality. I just ordered an 11x14 faux canvas from Walmart. Here are other examples of him posing for me:
