Rodential Obesity.

  • Okay, so maybe 'rodential' isn't a word.

In this context, I am of course using it to refer to something to do with rodents.

..that is, If guinea pigs are even rodents... are they?

    BUT ANYWAY.
I'm pretty sure my guinea pig is clinically obese. I left it with my grandmother for a few months and she fed it, and fed it...

I should change his name from "Nibbles" to "Chomps". Poor little bugger.

Still love the little guy though. He's really getting old, the poor thing has cataracts!
  • I know this is an old post but.....

I have guinea pigs too and they are kind of fat but not too bad. I give them their timothy hay, pellets, and some sort of vegetable every day. If I give them too much vegetables my black one will bloat like you've never seen. He gets like twice his size and just lays there with his big ole belly flopped out. He got his back claw caught in a blanket I had put in there yesterday, I had to cut the raveling that he was caught in, in order to get his foot out. I love my little guineas. Even they run from me and wont let me pet them, one of them tries to bite me, but I forgive her and just let it be. Oh to be a guinea pig mom.....
