Default my kitty on Team Chunk

Here's Moneen, she lives with my boyfriend for now, but he's giving her to me at the end of the month when he moves to a new not-so-pet-friendly apartment. He's so funny about her weight. He gets hurt when people ask if she's pregnant, just like a real woman.
I feel like she is pretty much the cat version of me. She only gets weight-control food but she some how manages to stay chubby anyway.

She was not happy about bathtime.

awwww, she's adorable. I would get her thyroid checked. I have one (a black one as well) that doesn't eat much but is chubby as she can be. We recently discovered her thyroid is a problem and now we're getting it under control. She's BEAUTIFUL btw.

Thank you! Are there any other symptoms of thyroid problems other than weight gain?

What is it about black cats? My "Panther" (no longer with us) looked the same. Big, big belly! Such a sweet disposition though.

She is beautiful - and she looks so soft and shiny!

Ha, My kitty is black and pudgy too! But 3 or my 4 cats are pudgy even on weight control food, so I don't think it's their thyroids.
