Your babies are beautiful!! I have two weinies as well. Houston is 4, a 9 lb blk/tan dapple smooth. Dallas is is almost 3, 14 lb choc/tan smooth.
Dachshunds are marvelous companions. My only issues have been the aforementioned stubborness and the infamous dachsie mouth... Dallas barks if a squirrel farts, and always has to have the last word!!
such sweet babies! I have a dachsund that is going to be 6 this year in may.. He's my precious boy He's perfect in every way except he will eat pretty much anything & his breath smells like rotten fish (the two are probably related issues.. hahaha) anyone else have an issue w/ their doxie's breath?

The town I live in has a big Dachshund weekend in the summer ever year. They have a big parade and other events. People bring their dogs in from all over.
