Just Found Out...
**Update: I miscarried.**
...that I'm pregnant with my second baby. My husband and I are really excited. It doesn't feel real though, like it's not actually going to happen. I don't remember feeling like this with my daughter, so I'm a little worried about that, like maybe my body knows something. I know that's ridiculous. But even as I type this, I feel like I shouldn't be, since it's not really going to happen!! Anyway, I had hoped to lose some more weight before getting pregnant, but here we are. I know that I can't actually try to lose weight, but does anyone know around how many calories I should be eating at? Should I eat at maintenance level? Higher? I won't be seeing my doctor for a couple of weeks. I gained 60lbs with my daughter and I do NOT want a repeat of that. I ate like crazy while pregnant, and defintely won't be doing that again! |
First- Congratulations! I just found out I'm pregnant with my first :)
Second- You only need an additional 300 calories a day when you're pregnant. So if you're used to eating 1800 calories per day, just bump it up to 2100 calories. Try not to go over that, and you shouldn't gain excess weight like you did your first pregnancy. Good luck and again, congrats! |
I miscarried this morning. :(
Thank you for your response though. |
Oh no, Pink! I'm so very sorry to hear this. You and your family will be in my prayers.
