While in my birthing class two days ago I was rocking in a lotus position (to scoot back to the wall) and notice a take-your-breath-away pain. It felt like a tightness (almost like my hip needed to pop) on my tailbone. When I sit or exercise, I feel a dull pain -- hardly noticeable. But if I rock back on my coccyx, sit on the floor with my legs extended, or stand in tree pose with my right hip flexed out, I feel the pain again.
I didn't injure it (fall or hit it). But I also work in a chair for eight hours a day and have the very bad habit of sitting on my feet.
I have no idea if this is related to pregnancy! I guess I am assuming it is since I've never experienced it before. Anyone else run into this issue?
