Default Third Trimester ?

I just entered my 3rd tri. I was wondering does your weight gain slow down in this stage. I've read some sites where it says it does and then there's others that say you continue to gain a pound a week.
I'm tracking my calories and working out everyday. At my last weigh-in a week ago I only gained a pound in 2 weeks. That's that I use only maintenance calories for my current weight. If it does start to slow....I'd be very happy since I gained a little more then I should've in the first trimester. LOL
Which have you found to be true?

Both times for me the third trimester was the time when the weight gain picked up. I put on a pound or more a week until about 38 weeks when the weight gain slowed down to half a pound a week at the most. I tried not to gain, but my appetite and cravings were out of control during the last three months.

Usually your third semester you will gain a pound every few weeks, you will start to notice the end of your 7th month or begining of your 8th, but this is because babys body is actually growing and storing fat now, and the baby will actually increase by about 3-5 pounds, there isn't anything you can do about it, and it is actually a good thing, because it means baby is growing strong and healthy. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

I gained a bunch of weight in my third trimester with my first. Although, I was on complete bedrest so I'm sure that contributed.

I think it's different for everyone. I know women who stop gaining in their third and women who gain the most in their third. It seems to fluctuate from person to person. Sorry that's not any help.

Weight loss on hold while I'm pregnant with baby #3, due June 2012.

You'd think I'd know being that this is my 5th but it's the first time tracking what I eat and watching my calories. I have no clue but I think I did gain more during the third Trimester.
I'm in shock right now that I'm fitting into a pair of shorts that I couldn't fit into in all my past pregnancies until after I'd had the baby and lost weight. A friend (very thin friend, LOL) of mine gave me a bunch of S/M maternity clothes including these shorts that I've always loved and wanted to wear but never could. I'm actually wearing them now.....I'm in complete shock. LOL
I found an XXL maternity shirt from my last pregnancy that I doubt I'll even wear this time around.
I'll weigh-in on my 30th week so I'll see where I'm at by then. I just hope I don't gain more then 35 lbs by the end.
