Just found out yesterday that another baby is on the way. This will be #5 for me and #4 for dh and I.
This was totally unplanned. I wanted to plan for next year, where I would lose all the weight then maintain but this little one had other plans. LOL Have an appt for 2 weeks from now but supposedly my EDD is Julie 21st. I'm hoping to have another birth center birth again but with $$ I don't know yet.
I am on the Atkin's diet, now trying to figure out how to do this and only gain what I need to during the pregnancy.

Congratulations! Ours was pretty unexpected too, but just think you have at least 9 months to prepare yourself.

Congrats!!! My "gift" to myself after I lose my weight (hopefully by this coming summer/fall) is to get pregnant again... I have a Mirena IUD so I REALLY hope I don't get pregnant right now haha Welcome from a nursing mama

Congrats!

This is #4 for us and also completely unplanned. I was ~10 lbs away from my goal weight when I got pregnant, so I've put away the scales until next summer. (I don't weigh myself at all while pregnant, my midwife is fine with this.) I'm planning my 3rd homebirth this time.

I would love a homebirth but the midwife in my area isn't covered by my insurance. My last child was birth in a birth center assisted by a midwife. It was an awesome experience, the insurance covered 80% of it. This time around (with another insurance group) They will only cover 60% of that same midwife. I doubt we could afford her again. I was able to find another midwife who practices out of a great hospital where they have a birthing tub and a bedroom setting. And she's covered completely with our insurance. I see her Dec 1st.

Woohoo! I found a midwife/birth center that is covered 100% by my insurance. I get my water birth after all. :-)

That's great! I loved my waterbirth too. My insurance doesn't cover any birthing centers anywhere around here, I'm glad you found one that is covered!
