Default How do I know I'm eating enough?

I've finally gotten off my butt after 4 months and decided to try and lose some weight. I don't want to affect my supply though. I told myself I would strive for 2500 calories this first week and then go from there. So far I had around 2000 calories on Monday and 2800 on Tuesday. I'm estimating about 1500 calories for the day. I've been throwing in extra snacks if I find myself getting hungry.
I'm also starting the WATP tapes. I'm doing the 1 mile for abs right now. Today was the first morning I was able to add a bit of the arm movements. Once I get those down, I'll move to the 2-mile.

You sound like you're doing great, actually. I'm trying to stick to right around 2000. In this, I went to a website (www.foodfit.com) that did the old trick of figuring out how many calories I need to maintain my weight & subtracting 500. (I pretty much always choose "moderately active" while nursing.) The site also gives a fairly good meal plan, but I have issues with trying to substitute stuff out, so I only use it as a springboard right now.

eating until you feel full and not beyond, that is your body telling you is the right amount. not like me who eats whenever and whatever. that is what i am working on. eating slow and chewing is the most important.
