do NOT do crunches. regardless of the kind of delivery, your ab muscles usually separate when you get in the later part of pg, crunches before they reknit can cause permanent damage. Only do isometric ab work...like focus on holding your tummy in while you walk or "kegel" style workouts for the abs.

typically they reknit in 6-10 weeks, your ob can probably tell you and show you what to feel for.

Hi ladies can I join you? I have been breastfeeding for 7 months. I lost all of my babyweight within the first 6 weeks. Then I lost another 10 pounds by eating right and walking everyday. Then I went back to work and didn't get to exercise as much and put those wonderfully lost 10 pounds back on. In the past month 4 of them came off again so yay! I am back in the losing game and ready for spring so I can get to walking again. I do have the gazelle which I love but it is set up in my room which my son still sleeps in as well since we are up 1-2 times every night. So I need so motivation to get moving again. How do you girls do it?

Hi ladies! I have an almost 6 month old that I'm nursing. I'm doing WW at home. So far, so good. I've not noticed a supply decrease. She's still eating a lot and gaining every week.

I've had two full term pregnancies within two years, my top weight while pregnant was 299. I started WW when I was 278 (12/27).

I'd like to join in, if that's okay. My DD will be 10 months old tomorrow. I don't know how long we'll continue breastfeeding - we'll definitely continue after 1yr. and then I'm pretty much going to let her decide how long she wants to carry on. She doesn't nurse much during the day anymore, maybe 4 times? But she's a serious night feeder. She's been gradually cutting back even on the night feeds though, so we'll see how it goes.

I currently weigh 245. I was around the 200-lb mark when I got pregnant and I don't have a clue how much I weighed when she was born - too much! But I've actually gained about 15 pounds in the past 6 months, so I'm working really hard now to get everything under control. I have my first WI Friday - following WW, but just doing it on my own at the moment because I don't have any meetings nearby. I lost 30lbs with WW a few years ago and loved it, so I still have all of my materials.

I'll check in as often as I can!
