I'm kind of doing my own thing based on the foods that I like that are higher protein/Low GI and loosely following the Curves Higher Protein plan...lean meats, veges, Low GI fruit, low fat milk/cheese/yogurt occasional wholegrain low GI bread, minimal white rice/potato. I try to vary my calories but don't usually go under 1200.

I don't like following a set menu plan, but have worked my meals out from the foods that I like that are good for me. The plan is that by doing it this way I will be able to follow it for life.

I have PCOS and IR and follow low-carb plan per my Dr's instructions and it works for me. I take 850 mg. Metformin twice a day.
