Default Any link between Varicose Veins and PCOS?

I know menopause can be related to varicose veins... so maybe PCOS could have a similar effect?

The reason I ask.. is because I'm 23 and during the last couple months I have developed varicose veins.. mostly in my right leg. It seems odd at my age.

I'm a little worried.

I'm on my mobile but I just came across your question and HAD to answer it because I have suffered from extensive health probs for a long time and have researched thousands of pages of info to figure out what my prob was because my docs weren't helping. I'm not eve 30 yet and have PCOS which can (and did in my case) cause fatty liver disease, estrogen dominance, insulin resistance, varicose veins, elevated cholesterol and heart problems. Insulin resistance if untreated can cause varicose veins. Mine burn all the time, even my skin is hot. Don't let a doctor test your blood sugar and say ur fine and dismiss ur symptoms. There is a specific test for insulin resistance. You can search on labtestsonline.org for their insulin resistance page. I've gained 40 lbs in the past year despite of being a vegan, been on a strict low glycemic diet, and exercise every day. Don't let them tell you your symptoms are imaginery. If you have questions you can ask me. Hope this helped.
