I recently started reading the "PCOS Diet Book" by Colette Harris. I haven't read through the whole forum so I don't know if anyone has recommended this book before, but I would highly recommend it.
It has a lot of good sound advice about diet and exercise, and while I find some of the herbal advice a bit iffy (no legitimate peer-reviewed articles are offered to back it up), it it helps, go for it.
Also wanted to recommend a website that I buy some of my whole foods at - it's a bulk supply store called bulkfoods (website is same) and I can get them cheaper there than at the local natural foods markets.
You may not find it any cheaper than things in your area, but if you live in a fairly remote area (like me) where there are not a lot of natural food stores to choose from, it could be a cheaper option. Hope that helps someone
