Hi All!
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so...I figure if I post a picture a day, that covers me for my first 1000. LOL! Kidding... I really enjoy sharing and posting pictures so I will try to post a variety each week for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to click on the link below to see some of my past pictures on the 30-Somethings Forum.

Thanks! It is nice to put a face with the name. My picture is my avatar, but my hair is totally different now. I do need to update it. Instead of long and curly, my hair is 2" spikes. My face is the same, though!

Pictures..
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, "its nice to put a face to the person" even though I really don't like taking pictures!!
They had to practically pry my camera from my hands and velcro me to the bench there to get me to take that picture!! I am my worse critic...I don't like my curly hair, nose too big, ears too big, eyes too small...etc..
I probably wont post another pic of me until 2007. LOL!

And here are a few pics of my famous footless rat, STUBS!
His story goes like this...
October, 2002..
I went into the pet store to pick up some Yogies (special yogurt drops for rodents.) Well, of course I had to stop by and visit the rats...and here was Stubs...at the top in the jumbo bin, cowering, scared, getting picked on by the other rats. I felt so sorry for him so I picked him up to give him some lovins', turned him over to rub his belly and eeeks!!...he had no back feet!! Just stubs!!
My heart melted immediately and I was almost in tears.. I called the manager over to show him and he goes "Oh no, we cant sell him like that...Here I will take him away." I said what are you going to do with him? He said they would probably euthanize him, as no one would want a handicapped rat. Excuse me!!! I told him HEY I will take him...and give him a good home. He told me well its obvious you love rats so you can have him...So they gave him to me for free! I was a little leery at first because he was not a baby rat and sometimes the older rats don't warm up to you if they havent had much human contact, but not this rat! He has been sooo sweet and grateful and loving you wouldnt think he was a ...rat. LOL! He curls up in my lap, he loves to take showers, he just loves to be with people in general. My other rat friends think that someone chopped off his back feet to be cruel. Others think that it's just a birth defect, but he acted like he was abused so I dont know..I just dont want to imagine though someone being so cruel to a sweet little animal.
Stubs has gained worldwide attention...I put his story up at the rat boards and club and I got emails from everywhere! It was crazy...His picture was also used for rat education...another girl wrote a childrens story about him...and people that hate rats come over to my house and actually "like" Stubs. "He doesnt seem like a RAT" is what they say...Course not! He is my boy! My Muffin Man...(Nickname).
And without further ado....Here's Stubs!!
1st Day Home..

Awwwww...Stubs is handsome. I love all sorts of animals. I have one 4lb black chihuahua-you can see him in my avatar. his name is Gizmo and even though some insensitive people in the street ask if he's really a rat, I think he's cute just like your Stubs. I also have 2 cats, Kit & Nemo.
Anyway just wanted to say hi and tell you these are all great pics. Take care.
