WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Lack of time and being tired all of the time! I work from 7am-5pm, drive to school and am on campus until midnight most days. My weekends are usually spent on campus at the library or getting some quality time with my husband. My schedule leaves little room of cooking, eating healthy, exercising, or sleeping. I usually eat reasonably healthy breakfast and lunches, but my dinners consist of stuff I can get on campus or fast food (which I hate), and I don't usually have time to get to the gym until after 11pm or midnight which makes it very easy to put it off.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I don't know! I have lost weight in the past and hate that I've gained it back! I'm tired all of the time and hate that I consume fast food (which I never used to). I've resolved to change my crappy eating and lack of exercise because I absolutely hate the way I feel about myself since I've gained back the weight.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I can't think of anything, but if you want to know something you can always ask!

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Lack of modivation and time. I am constinly chasing my 1 yr old around which leaves me minimal time to keep up with the house and errands I have to get done let alone sit or think about exersing.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I'm out of breath from going up and down my stairs which never used to be a problem. I would like to keep up with my son and be healthy and there for him in the future. Also my husband was so kind to mention to me yesterday that I am chubby but in a cute way...whatever that means lol.

I was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago and its a big part of my life. I try to inform anyone who doesn't know about it so women can reconize it earlier in their lives.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Exercising regularly. My cholesterol is bad and I *need* to get my body moving.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:
I will stick to the exercise because I want to be healthy and don't want to take medication.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2001. I am currently maintaining my glucose levels with diet and minimal exercise. My last reading was in the normal range! Whoo Hooo!!

I am currently struggling with adjusting my way of eating since I recently found out that I have allergies to cows milk, coffee and berries.

I have finally found a competent doctor that knows about PCOS and has put me on Metformin which should be helping along with the diet and exercise. I am also starting to think I may be intolerant to wheat, so I am thinking more and more about trying to go to a low carb diet and stay away. I look forward to getting to know you all!

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: What started as a healthy food relationship (simply trying new things and never over eating) turned into a overall food addiction.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: Since I've packed on these pounds I always said I'd lose them for this reason or that reason. None of the reasons were of a genuine nature to myself. Now that I hear insulin resistance is a part of PCOS - I'm scared to death. I want to reverse my bad habits to prevent ever hearing that I have diabetes.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I truly want and need to lose this weight. Hoepfully everyone will be helpful. Thanks.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: PCOS and APS/Hughes Syndrome. Being surrounded by overweight friends that try to get me to eat bad things "because one bite won't matter".

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: My husband is doing it with me.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I hit a huge weight loss stagnant phase back in 1997. I had gained nearly 100 pounds with my first pregnancy due to severe full blown toxemia (started at 160, shot up to 250 by 7 1/2 months pregnant when i had her). I was only 17 and living a rough life on my own at the time so didn't try much to do anything about it. I then got pregnant again, lost 40 lbs or so during my pregnancy.

My son from that pregnancy passed away on June 12, 1997. I didn't care one bit about myself, gained some weight back, went suicidal for a while there and was put on meds. Snapped out of that, but was severely depressed until about a year ago. I am ready now to put the past behind me and take it for what it is and FINALLY work on me again.

I have been blessed with the most wonderful man on the planet, and have been with him since I was 12. This time around, he is doing this with me even though his lucky butt only needs to lose 30 lbs LOL. My depression has subsided significantly without meds and I am beyond grateful for that.

My son would have wanted me to be a healthy happy mama. It is finally time for me to move on.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Laziness! Also, I have a lot of food allergies, such as dairy, so I end up eating more carbs than I probably should.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I'm just sick of being overweight. I'd like to be called "pretty" instead of just "cute" for once! I'd also like to be able to go shopping without feeling bad about myself.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 or 16 years old. I had horrible skin, I'd gained a lot of weight -- I was a very, very skinny kid and pre-teen -- and, worse, my little sister had been having her period for years while I still was not! I was told I had elevated androgens and given BCPs, which I took until I was 18. (Weirdly, I've since become allergic to them.) Going off BCPs actually cleared up a lot of my problems, such as bad skin and excess hair; I even started to have periods on my own. I also (temporarily) lost 10 pounds.

However, I think I told myself that since PCOS was what was making me overweight, I couldn't do anything about it. I also didn't have a very good idea of what healthy eating meant. I had very bad eating habits, such as only eating once a day and spending entirely too much time at the pub.

When I was 22, I found a new doctor who finally told me what PCOS was really all about. We also found out my blood sugar was 3 times the normal amount, and she put me on Metformin. It completely changed my life. I lost 23 pounds, going from 168 to 145, I had energy again, and I put an effort into learning all about nutrition.

Unfortunately, my weight crept back up to 158 while I was writing my thesis this past year. Now I can't have the miracle weight drop that comes with beginning Met, so I've decided to actually make a life style change that involves eating less, eating better, and exercising. I've lost 11 pounds since I graduated in April. I want to eventually get down to 130 -- a weight I have never been in my entire adult life -- and maintain it indefinitely.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: emotional eater and it doesn't matter how little i eat, i gain no matter what.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: i'm getting pcos treatment and i have begun an exercise routine and eating habits that i've tailored myself, no more fad diets.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I'm open minded when it comes to most topics, however am terribly shy - perhaps weight loss can change my shyness. I want to be thin for the first time in my life and have it remain throughout so I can be happy. This is my chance to make a difference for myself and I'm ready to do anything to get it.
