It does get easier.

You can also try to substitute in other things like spaghetti squash if you still need the "pasta" type of foods.

Other than that, just make different meals that don't require pasta at all -- don't make a lasagna without pasta. Make a roasted chicken with roasted vegetables (no pasta association!). Use turnips rather than potatoes.

But, it will get easier the longer you're low carb.

Do you have a blood glucose meter? Could you be dropping to low in calories and subsequently struggling with hypoglycemia symptoms?

What are you feeling?

Low carb DOES get easier! I promise.

I'm not very familiar with the metabolism miracle diet. What I just skimmed from an internet search sounds like it's moderate-carb and fairly low-fat.

Personally, my favorite lower-carb diet is the Insulin Resistance Diet. It's more of a framework for how you deal with carbs in your diet, with the aim of minimizing blood sugar spikes (and thus the need for excess insulin to deal with the glucose). You never eat carbs alone, but always link them with protein. You balance each carb serving with a protein serving. And you limit your carbs to two servings (30 grams) per meal. With those three, easy-to-remember rules (link, balance, limit), you can eat just about anywhere and in any situation. It's still my go-to framework for its flexibility, even though I aim for much fewer carbs/day than that now.

But we could give you some more specific advice on your plan if you gave us a typical day's menu... Maybe we can see where you might want to do some tweaking.
